<br />, <br />I <br />! <br /> <br />F~csimilc article from the Frederick Farmer and Miner of May 8, 1969. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br /> <br />ERIE CHURCH USED AS <br />SHEL TER DURING STORM <br /> <br />Residents of the area along a dike on <br />Coal Creek here were being evacuated <br />shortly after noon Wednesday to the <br />Methodist Church in the community. <br /> <br />Officials at Eric Hiqh School reported <br />students were dismissed at 12:30 p.m., <br />terming the traffic situation east of town <br />as ~next to impossible" because of a <br />number of road washouts.
