There are approximately twenty fairly expensive, large <br />homes located along the south shore line. Several of the property <br />owners along the south shore experienced minor flood damage due to <br />the maximum level of Hidden Lake during the May 1973 storm. The <br />damage was generally limited to boat docks washed away and some lawn <br />inundation. The house furthest to the east experienced unfinished- <br />basement flooding. The total estimated damage was placed at about <br />$1,000. <br />Below Hidden Lake, the east side of Lowell Blvd. is largely <br />developed, while the west side of Lowell Blvd. has significant areas <br />that are currently undeveloped. <br />The present land uses within the Hidden Lake Planning Basin are <br />presented on the following page: <br />
