<br />Designation and Approval of Floodplains and of Storm or Floodwater Runoff Channels in Colorado" ; . . <br />(2 CCR 408-1); and . e <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is appropriate that immediately before the adoption of this Resolution the <br />significance of the rescission of a portion of Floodplain Resolution No.1, the Colorado Water <br />Conservation Board's first floodplain Resolution which has been in effect for over 25 years and which <br />marked the beginning of an important phase in the history of the Board's Floodplain Management <br />Program, should be noted; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Colorado Water Conservation Board in <br />regular meeting assembled in Denver, Colorado, this 10th day of September, 1993, that it does hereby <br />designate and approve as detailed floodplain information the 100-year floodplains as described by <br />the floodwater surface elevations and profiles in said new report, revised March 14, 1991, for the <br />study reach of Little Dry Creek from its confluence with the South Platte River upstream to Logan <br />Street, and that it does hereby rescind the detailed information in Resolution No. 31 for that reach <br />only, and that it does hereby designate and approve as approximate floodplain information the 100- <br />year floodplains as described by the floodplain delineations in said new report, revised March 14, <br />1991, for the study reach of Little Dry Creek from Logan Street upstream to Clarkson Street and the <br />study reach of the South Platte River from Union Avenue upstream to a point 1500 feet upstream <br />of Union Avenue, and that it does hereby rescind those portions of Resolution No.1, dated <br />December 12, 1967, regarding that reach of the South Platte River from Union Avenue upstream to <br />a point 1500 feet upstream of Union Avenue and those portions of Resolution No. 31 regarding that <br />reach of Little Dry Creek from Logan Street upstream to Clarkson Street; and <br /> <br />'e <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Board is directed to send a certified <br />copy of this resolution to the City of Englewood; the City of Cherry Hills Village; the City of <br />Greenwood Village; the City of Littleton; the City of Sheridan; the City and County of Denver; the <br />Board of County Commissioners of Arapahoe County; the Urban Drainage and Flood Control <br />District; the Colorado Office of Emergency Management; and the Federal Emergency Management <br />Agency. <br /> <br />CERTIFICATE <br /> <br />I certify that the foregoing is a true and correct copy of a resolution adopted by a majority <br />vote of the members of the Colorado Water Conservation Board in regular session assembled at <br />Alamosa, Colorado, on the 10th day of September, 1993, at which a quorum was present. <br /> <br />W1=c:d <br /> <br />Daries C.
