These staff provide a <br />broad range of expertise in all of the technical areas necessan' to the Colorado Wate! <br />Conservation Board (CWCR) 1999 Flood Documentation Report project, including hydrology, <br />hydraulics, meteorology, and floodplain management, <br /> <br />Montgomery Watson's Denver Regional Office was established in 1979. It is now comprised <br />of 30 staff members with backgrounds in water resources engineering, civil design, computet <br />modeling, environmental studies, Colorado water rights, water and wastewater treatment, and <br />graphics and production. Our key staff members have a long and successful history of working <br />with key local, state and federal water resources agencies throughout the State of Colorado, <br /> <br />Section 2 - Location Where Work Will Be Performed <br /> <br />AU work on the 1999 Flood Documentation Report will be petformed in our Downtown <br />Denver office, which is centrally located with respect to tile study areas and is com'enient to <br />eWCR's office to facilitate coordination, <br /> <br />Section 3 - General Qualifications and Firm Expedence <br /> <br />Montgomery Watson has acquired a wide range of experience and llualifications necessary to <br />complete the 1999 Flood Documentation Report. The general qualifications of our firm and <br />our Denver Office arc highlighted below: <br /> <br />$ Experience with Flood Control Projects. Montgomery \1Vatson has <br />analyzed flood hazards in 58 communities in seven states. \1Ve have <br />been one of FEMA's study contractors for over 20 years, and have <br />prepared over 30 complete flood control master plans for commu111ties <br />in the western United States. This experience: in controlling floods has <br />given us an appreciation for the hazards which flooding represents, <br />the way in which flood control facilities are intended to operate, the <br />design limitations in these facilities, and the devastation which can <br />occur when facilities fail or their capacities are exceeded. <br />
