We <br />have always encountered a minimal amount of difficulty with <br />our water table and the water that rises as a result. In <br />the past we had some water underneath our house which was <br />easily drained using a pump. <br /> <br />Since the drainage ditch was built we have encountered many <br />more problems, not only do we have more water to deal with <br />in the spring but we also have a major shift occuring. We <br />built a deck on the north side and another on the south side <br />of our house, in the winter the north deck tilts 50 much we <br />are unable to open our door. On the south side the deck <br />tilts about six inches. This shitting has caused great <br />damage to both decks and our storm door. <br /> <br />The ground shift has also caused great damage to our garage, <br />the walls have developed large cracks and in the winter a <br />hump emerges in front of the large door making it very <br />difficult to drive a vehicle into or out of the garage. <br /> <br />We began to have these problems about the time this drainage <br />ditch was built, our recommendation would be to build this <br />ditch South until it reaches the Cu1ebra Creek thus <br />bypassing the entire town and possibly helping us with our <br />problems also. <br /> <br />Sincerely yours, <br /> <br />Alfirio Sanchez <br /> <br />,_~; L+~~~' <br /> <br />v <br /> <br />( . <br />.j . ~ <br /> <br />~ . ~~ <br />
