Final fonnat and layout shall be approved <br />by CWCB prior to final printing and publishing. Desktop publishing services may have to be sub- <br />consulted by the Consultant if in-house software and personnel are not available. Report shall <br />employ effective communication techniques to reach a wide variety of readers and shall include <br />dynamic features. Examples of this include color photos, quick tips, pull-out boxes, multiple <br />columns, embedded charts and figures, and other publishing principles found in magazine-type <br />publications. Software to be used for report layout and publishing should include, or will be <br />equivalent to, packages such as Quark Express, Adobe AcrobatJPhotoshop, and Corel Draw. The <br />fonnat of the final manual shall be a bound 8.5" by II" report in a 3-ring binder with foldout pages <br />or map pockets as necessary. The final electronic manual copy will be provided to CWCB in a <br />desktop publishing format and as an Adobe Acrobat ".pdf' file. The imbedded manual text will be <br />provided to the CWCB in Microsoft Word fonnat or other acceptable format as approved by the <br />CWCB. Imbedded digital maps, images, charts, and other non-text items may be produced using <br />available software at the discretion of the Consultant and approved by the CWCB. <br /> <br />The Consultant shall also submit two (2) hard copies of a technical addendum that includes contacts, <br />meeting minutes, calculations, correspondence, technical backup data, and other' pertinent <br />infonnation related to the Project. The technical addendum shall be an indexed and bound 8.5" by <br />II" report with a cover. <br /> <br />Completion of Work <br /> <br />The Consultant shall invoice all tasks as assigned in this Scope of Work no later than June 15,2001. <br /> <br />The CWCB' s floodplain infonnation library and other resource materials will be made available to <br />the consultant for reviewing and copying.
