<br />Detention storage routing through the Woodmoor Lake was
<br />addressed in the hydrologic model. Using spillway dimensions
<br />from the State Engineer's Dams Roster List (Reference 35) and
<br />the surface area when full, a stage-capacity-dlscharge curve
<br />was generated for the structure.
<br />
<br />Peak dIscharge results for the hydrologic discharge points
<br />shown on Figure 15.1 are listed In Table 15.3. The peak flow
<br />of 3,040 cfs for the 100-year storm at point DW 5 is slightly
<br />lower than the 3,360 cfs value obtained by the CWCB. The
<br />difference does not appear that substantial as it is still
<br />unclear as to how the CWCB approached storage detention routing
<br />through the Woodmoor Lake (if at all).
