The final design phase of the project will be undertaken <br />immediately after CWCB notification of approval of the design <br />concepts and will be done concurrently with the hydraulic <br />modeling in the interest of time conservation. The services for <br />this design phase include: <br /> <br />1. Making arrangements for any additional necessary services or <br />field information to be furnished or obtained from others. <br /> <br />2. Preparing final construction drawings and specifications for <br />the project, including directly related landscape design. <br />portage, signage, emergency access, access, and aquatics. <br /> <br />3. Furnishing the necessary engineering data to apply for <br />regulatory permits as required by local. state, and/or <br />federal authorities. This is distinguished from and does <br />not include detailed applications and supporting documents <br />for government permits and approval. <br /> <br />4. Preparing and furnishing to the CWCB ten coples of drawings, <br />specifications, and other contract documents, for final <br />review by the CWCB and by approving authorities. <br /> <br />5. Preparing documents related to construction contracts for <br />review and approval by the CWCB. <br /> <br />6. Preparing detailed flood plain mapping for use in FHAD flood <br />plain modifications. <br /> <br />lIT. CONSTRUCTION PHASES SERVICES <br /> <br />A. Office Engineering <br /> <br />Services under this phase are undertaken after the advertisement <br />for bids for construction contracts. The basic services in this <br />phase include: <br /> <br />1. Assis tance to the CWCB in securing bids, tabulation and <br />analysis of bid results, and furnishing recommendations on <br />the award of construction con tracts. <br />
