Dear Mr. McDonald:

In accordance with Section 37-60-106(1)(c) CRS, the City of
Westminster, Colorado, hereby requests designation and approval of
the following storm or floodwater runoff channels or basins as
described in the Bruchez Farms Property Report prepared by Wright
Water Engineers, Inc. under contract to Mr. Andrew Loewi, an
attorney representing Mr. Harold Bruchez:

Big Dry Creek from the Colorado and Southern Railroad to the
western boundary of the Bruches Farms Property, a distance of
about 0.8 of a mile, as detailed floodplain information.

The above requested floodplain designations are revisions to
the previously adopted floodplain elevations and designations by
the CWCB on October 1, 1987, per Resolu.t::i:0~. 271. That
Resolution was in accordance with the November>.;L9JL6 Flood Hazard
Area Delineation (FHAD) as prepared by Greiner Engineering
Sciences, Inc. under the supervision of the Urban Drainage and
Flood Control District.
