the District En~ineer, Albuquerque District, the State of Colorado

has been monitoring and providing input into the project formula-

tion process.

Creek," dated March 1981, has been reviewed by the Colorado Water

Conservation Board. The staff's specific comments will be mailed

directly to you. Based on the reviews performed by the Board, I

of Pueblo and its citizenry. Many of the existing residential

and business structures are subject to inundation from a 100-year

flood to depths of 10 feet. During the June 1965 flood, many

residents were forced from their homes due to flood waters from

Fountain Creek. Fountain Creek does have a history of flooding.
