Control Project.

I appreciate knowing of the Colorado Water Conservation Board's concern
that the President's FY 83 budget does not contain funding for this project,
and I understand the board's desire to obtain funding for the project through
the appropriations process.

I have, therefore, taken the liberty of forwarding a copy of your letter to
Representative Tom Bevill, chairman of the House Appropriations Corrrnittee's
Subcommittee on Energy and Water Development, along with my comments. A
