Funding requests for Colorado are: <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Phase I funding above John Martin Reservoir, <br />which includes the study projects of Florence, <br />La Juntn, Channelization downstream of Pueblo <br />on the Arkansas Rive4 and a number of smaller <br />projects. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Survey Investigation- Downstream of John Martin <br />Reservoir includes Lamar, Granada, and a number <br />of Kansas projects. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />2nd year funding for the Trinidad Dam Emergency <br />Spillway project. <br /> <br />Note: I have <br />the first two <br />project. <br /> <br />been advised that $100,000+/- could be stolen from <br />items for advanced engineering for the Fountain Creek <br /> <br />c. <br /> <br />Mr. Don Luster, who is also an executive of CF~I, <br />has made arrangements for a lobbyist in Washington <br />this year. We'd better check signals! <br /> <br />d. <br /> <br />Mr. Mike Mocek of the Pueblo office will be prepared <br />to discuss the following: <br /> <br />l) What's the project priority within the District <br />and Division? <br /> <br />2) If the Appropriations Committee asks for Corps' <br />capability, what can be expected?
