There is a real need to improve the floodplain maps in Eagle County and I am sure, most areas of the state. Inadequate mapping is the "weak link" of many floodplain management programs and this County does not have the personnel to implement a mapping program. I I There are several mapping projects in Eagle County that should be considered. I mentioned these projects in the questionnaire but will reiterate them here for clarification. 1.
