The applicant for a vari nce which is granted <br />shall be given written notice that the struc ure will be <br />permltted to be bullt wlth the lowest floor ~levation below the <br />base flood elevation, and that the cost of food insurance will <br />be commensurate with the increased risk resu ting from the <br />reduced lowest floor elevation. i <br />i <br />'. <br /> <br />(G) A variance shall be <br />any increase in flood levels <br />would result. <br /> <br />15.7-7: Adoption of Maps and Report: <br /> <br />(A) The "Flood Hazard Boundary Map (FHB )" for the Town of <br />Lake City, Colorado, as as promulgated by the Federal Insurance <br />Administration, effective August 13, 1976; and the "Flood Plain <br />Information Report, Lake Fork of the Gunnison and Henson Creek at <br />Lake City" (FPIR), as prepared by Westwater E gineering, Inc., <br />dated August 19R5 and adopted by the Colorado Water Conservation <br />Board are hereby adopted by reference for thel purpose of <br />administration and enforcement of these regul~tions. <br />i <br />, <br />(B) The Building Official shall interprei the exact <br />locations of the boundaries of Floodplain and of the floodway as <br />provided on the FHBM and in the FPIR. <br />! <br />(C) In interpreting the boundaries of th~ Floodplain or of <br />the floodway and in determining base flood el vation the Building <br />Official shall obtain, review and reasonably tilize any base <br />flood elevation data and other data available, from other federal <br />sources or sources officially approved by the!
