<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />(K) Base flood elevation data shall he ~. rovided by the <br />subdivider for subdivision proposals and oth r proposed <br />development which contain at least 50 lots 0 5 acres, whichever <br />is less. . <br />I <br />(L) New construction and substantial imtrovement of any <br />residential structure shall have the lowest loor (including <br />basement) elevated to or above base flood el vation. <br />! <br />(M) New construction and substantial im rovement of any <br />commercial, industrial or other non-resident al structure shall <br />either have the lowest floor (including base ent) elevated to the <br />level of the base flood elevation, or, toget er with the <br />attendant utility and sanitary facilities, saIl: <br /> <br />(1) Be floodproofed so that below ~he ba~ flood level <br />the structure is watertight with walls s~bstantially <br />impermeable to the passage of water, I <br /> <br />(2) Have structural components capJble of resisting <br />hydrostatic and hydrodynamic loads and e~fects of buoyancy, <br />and I <br />I <br /> <br />(3) Be certified by a registered pjofessional engineer <br />or architect that the standards of this ubsection are <br />satisfied. Such certification shall be rovided to the <br />Building Official. ! <br />! <br />(N) For new mobile home parkS and mobil~ home subdivisions; <br />for expansions to existing mobile home parks and mobile home <br />subdivisions; for existing mobile home parkS and mobile home <br />subdivisions where the repair, reconstruction or improvements of <br />the streets, utilities and pads equals or exc eds 50% of the <br />value of the streets, utilities and pads befo e the repair, <br />reconstruction or improvement has commenced; nd for mobile homes <br />to be placed outside of a mobile home park or mobile home <br />subdivision, the following shall apply: <br /> <br />i <br />! <br />(1) Stands or lots shall be elevatea on compacted fill <br />or on pilings so that the lowest floor of! the mobile home <br />will be at or above the base flood level.1 <br /> <br />(2) Adequate surface drainage and apcess for a hauler <br />shall be provided. i <br /> <br />(3) In the instance of elevation on! pilings, lots shall <br />be large enough to permit steps; piling f~undations shall be <br />placed on stable soil no more than 10 feet apart; and <br />reenforcement shall be provided for pilin$S more than 6 feet <br />above ground.
