(4) Apparent errors in addition of lump sum and extended
prices will be corrected.

b. For the purposes of bid evaluation, the Government will proceed
on the assumption that the bidder intends his bid to be evaluated on the
basis of the unit prices, extensions, and totals arrived at by resolution of
arithmetic discrepancies as provided above and the bid will be so reflected
on the abstract of bids.

18. SITE INSPECTION: Contractors interested in inspecting the site of

19. NOTICE OF AFFIRMATIVE ACTION REQUIREMENTS TO ENSURE EQUAL EMPLOYMENT
OPPORTUNITY: See attached AFFIRMATIVE ACTION page I and General Provisions
paragraph entitled: AFFIRMATIVE ACTION COMPLIANCE REQUIREMENTS FOR
CONSTRUCTION.

20. DUNS CONTRACTOR ESTABLISHMENT NUMBER: The Offeror shall in the
space provided on Standard Form 19-B, Page 4, insert his assigned nine (9)
digit Dun and Bradstreet, Inc., (DUNS) Contractor Establishment Number.

21. EQUIPMENT OWNERSHIP AND OPERATING EXPENSE SCHEDULE: Whenever a
modification or equitable adjustment of contract price is required, the
Contractor's cost proposals for equi pment ownership and operating expenses
shall be determined in accordance with the requirements of paragraph:
EQUIPMENT OWNERSHIP AND OPERATING EXPENSE SCHEDULE, contained in the Special
Provisions section of the specifications. A copy of EP 1l10-1-8
"Construction Equi pment Ownership and Operating Expense Schedule" is
available for review in this office and in the office listed in paragraph:
SITE INSPECTION herein.

22. COLORADO SALES AND USE TAX. Specific exemption from the Colorado
Sales and Use Taxes will be granted by Colorado tax authorities with respect
to all materials used by a Prime Contractor or subcontractor and which are
built into structures furnished under contract to a Government agency. The
Colorado sales and use taxes shall be excluded from bid prices. Exemption
certificates are available to both contractors and subcontractors provided
personal appl ication is made therefor to the Department of Revenue, State of
