<br />. <br /> <br />~, <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby agreed that: <br /> <br />A) Scope of Services <br /> <br />1) Conduct an overall survey, evaluation and damage assessment of the flood hazards that annually <br />threaten Georgetown due to spring snowmelt runoff and seasonal thunderstorms. <br />2) Worm V.S. Army Corps of Engineers that grant has been received and use their offered expertise to <br />analyze what types of flood mitigation initiatives would best serve the community, within the town's <br />budget constraints. <br />3) Obtain city council approval for each step of the planning and plan development process. <br />4) Conduct public meetings 1) to keep citizens informed, 2) to obtain their input about flood mitigation <br />initiatives, and 3) obtain local citizenry support for plan adoption. <br />5) Develop selected mitigation initiatives based on the results of the planning phase activitiers and <br />FEMA mitigation project specifications. <br /> <br />B. Time of Performance This agreement, shall become effective upon signing by the State Controller and <br />shall be in effect through September 30, 1998_. <br /> <br />C. Compensation and Method of Payment Total compensation responsibility by the Colorado Water <br />Conservation Board under this MOV shall not exceed eleven thousand and nine hundred dollars ($11,900) for <br />the time period covered by this MOV. <br /> <br />Payment shall be made upon receipt of invoices. Invoices and final report shall be submitted to: <br /> <br />Mark D. Matulik, Colorado Water Conservation Board, 1313 Sherman Street, Room 721, Denver, CO 80203. <br /> <br />A final detailed and itemized expenditure report must be submitted to the CWCB by the City of Georgetown, <br />Colorado, thirty (30) days after completion of the project. Expenditure of federal funds and local matching <br />funds (in-kind and cash) shall be included in the report. <br /> <br />D. Liability Each party agrees to be responsible and assume liability for its own wrongful or negligent acts <br />or omissions, or those of its officer, agents, or employees to the full extent required by law. <br /> <br />Page 2 of 5 <br />
