Bob has 30 years experience as a <br />professional consulting engineer in fields of water supply, urban drainage and wastewater <br />treatment. He is a Member of American Society of Civil Engineers, and has received awards from <br />the American Consulting Engineers Council in 1981 for the National Award for Engineering <br />Excellence. His company was recently honored by the National Republican Congressional <br />Committee's Business Advisory Council as the recipient of the 2002 Entrepreneur's Gold Medal. <br /> <br />NISSA MADDOX, Senior Project Associate, Trust for Public Land <br />Nissa.Maddox@tpl.org <br />George Mason University, Fairfax, VA <br />Nissa has been doing community organizing and campaign work for seven years, and has been <br />with TPL for the last two years. Nissa previously worked for the Colorado Environmental <br />Coalition. In addition to TPL's conservation visioning program, Nissa also assists communities in <br />Colorado identify and create direct revenues for parks, trails, and open space conservation. Nissa <br />coordinated the very successful Cherry Creek Basin Legacy Grant planning effort on behalf of TPL <br />that involved many stakeholders in the Cherry Creek watershed over the last year and a half. Nissa <br />is a fifth generation Colorado native. <br /> <br />ELLIOT PAYSON, Bowmar Homeowners Association <br />Elliot is affiliated with the Bowmar Homeowners Association, and was instrumental in the <br />development of the Grant Ranch IGA between the Bowmar Metropolitan District and the <br />homeowners association for the protection of Bowmar Lake. <br /> <br />CHRIS ROWE, Executive Director, Colorado Watershed Network, Denver <br />chris. rowe@state'.co.us <br />BS in Conservation Education, MS in Watershed Science, both from Colorado State University. <br />The Colorado Watershed Network is an organization that operates the River Watch Volunteer <br />Monitoring network and also manages a Watershed Protection Initiative. Chris spent time in <br />Alaska where he was the tribal Environmental Manager for the Tlingit and Hiada Tribes and <br />implemented diverse programs ranging from indoor air quality education to watershed <br />assessments. He is currently working to establish the new Colorado Alliance for Water Education, <br />and believes that unbiased water education is a key to protecting our vital water resources. <br /> <br />BILL RUZZO, Principal, William P. Ruzzo, PE, LLC, lakewood <br />bi II.ruzzo@attbi.com <br />BS Engineering, North Carolina State University <br />Bill has 30 years of experience in drainage, flood control and storm water quality work. He has <br />prepared almost 30 drainage criteria manuals. His firm provides consultation to the Cherry Creek <br />Basin Water Quality Authority on capital improvement projects, development compliance, <br />watershed modeling, and other activities related to reservoir standards and the Control Regulation <br />for Cherry Creek Reservoir.
