<br />2 <br /> <br />In his July 8 letter, Mr. Bunting stated that the sole property owner <br />affected by this revision was notified and has no objections. <br /> <br />A LOMR was issued on the same date as this letter <br />Springs, Colorado, to incorporate the results <br />hydraulic analyses into the FIRM for that community. <br /> <br />for the City of Colorado <br />of the above-mentioned <br /> <br />The modifications are shown on the enclosed annotated copy of FIRM Panel <br />0168 C; Profile Panels 198P, 199P, and 200P; and the Floodway Data Table'for <br />Sand Creek. This LOMR hereby revises this panel of the effective FIRM dated <br />September 30, 1992, and the Flood Profiles and Floodway Data Table in the FIS <br />report dated September 30, 1992. Cross Section AZ has been removed from the <br />Floodway Data Table for Sand Creek in El Paso County because it now lies <br />entirely within the corporate limits for the City of Colorado Springs. <br />Because of channel improvements, the stream length has been shortened. To <br />account for the difference, an equality is shown on Profile Panel 200P. <br /> <br />The name of the railroad shown on effective Profile Panel 198P was changed <br />from Chicago, Rock Island and Pacific Railroad to the Colorado and Eastern <br />Railroad to agree with the information shown on FIRM Panel 0168 C. In addition, a notice' of changes will be <br />published in the Federal Re~ister. We encourage you to supplement this <br />notification by preparing an article for publication in your' community <br />newspaper. This article should describe the changes that have been made and <br />the assistance your community will give in providing data and interpreting <br />the NFIP maps. Because this LOMR will not be printed and distributed to <br />primary users, such as local insurance agents and mortgage lenders, your <br />community will serve as a repository for the new data. <br /> <br />The revisions are effective as of the date of this letter; however, within <br />90 days of the second publication in the Gazette Tele~raph, a citizen may <br />request that the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) reconsider the <br />determination made by this LOMR. Any request for reconsideration must be <br />based on scientific or technical data. All interested parties are on notice <br />
