Statement of Qualifications
- -

REPRESENTATIVE EXPERIENCE (Cont.)

· United Parcel Service Facility in Colorado Springs, Colorado .- Project Manager performing
hydraulic analysis and design of channel improvements to the West Fork of Sand Creek. Included in
the project scope was development of existing/proposed conditions computer models. review and
revision to the drainage report, plan review, and preparation of design reports. Design
recommendations achieved cost-effective implementation of improvements while maintaining
parameters specified in the drainage basin master plan. Responsible lor coordination with City of
Colorado Springs, client, contractor/subconsultants, and adjacent property owners including
construction inspection and [mal approvals initiating warranty period.

. Project Manager responsible
for design of a seventeen acre-foot capacity detention pond, hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, and
spillway design. Design was based upon revision to existing hydrology and was subject to Urban
Drainage & Flood Control District review/approval. Due to the size of the reservoir, the two-phase
project was under the jurisdiction and review ofthe Colorado Department of Natural Resources State
Engineer's Office which required flood hazard category classification and dam breach analyses.

. Parker Water and Sanitation District in Parker, Colorado - Project Engineer responsible for design
of a fifty-four million gallon wastewater treatIllent plant dIluent reservoir, hydrologic and hydraulic
analyses, and spillway design. The reservoir's design was based upon probable maximum precipitation
inflow requirements and included computer simulation of dam failure/downstream floodwaves. Due to
the size of the reservoir, this project was under the jurisdiction and review of the Colorado Department
of Natural Resources State Engineer's Office.

. Erosion Control Analysis for Stetson Hills Development in Colorado Springs, Colorado - Project
Engineer responsible for the preparation of the Sand Cn,ek Meander Belt Analysis and preliminary
design of erosion control/channelization. Study outlined the potential for lateral migration of Sand
Creek in its natural condition and delineated boundaries of the potential migration. Preliminary design
measures addressed the inherent erosion potential and provided guidelines for the implementation of
conservation procedures. Included in this project was an U.S. Army Corps of Engineers 404 Permit

.
