<br />Agenda Item lOb <br />March 3, 1995 <br />Page Six <br /> <br />floodplain information following their acceptance and approval by the CWCB Hydrology <br />Advisory Committee and the Board. The CWCB staff and the Hydrology Advisory Committee <br />feel that this approach is appropriate for calculating flows for approximate floodplain delineations, <br />as long as that is the onlv use made of the Guidelines. The staff endorses the attached Work Plan <br />for the development of the Guidelines. The "Proposed Motion" is as follows: <br /> <br />ProDosed Motion <br /> <br />The Board, having reviewed the Board memorandum summarizing a proposal for <br />the development of the "Guidelines for Determining Flood Peaks for Approximate IOO-Year <br />Floodplains", now moves as follows: to approve as suitable for Board approval and designation <br />of lOO-year floodplain information the regional regression methodology proposal in the attached <br />Work Plan, to authorize the Board staff and the CWCB Hydrology Advisory Committee to <br />proceed with the preparation of the Guidelines and to approve the proposed order of study for <br />Colorado's river basins, with the Arkansas River basin as first study priority. <br /> <br />Motion By <br />Second By <br />For <br />Against <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />.' <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br />
