Authoritv The authority to contract with qualified <br />vendors to perform specific maintenance work should be granted <br />to the person appointed by the CWCB to take care of the South <br />Platte Channel. <br /> <br />6) Addressinl! the Immediate Problem The immediate problem of <br />authorizing and funding action to correct the specific erosion <br />control structure failure described in the Corps' December 6, 1994 <br />should be addressed by the Board at the January 25-26 meeting. <br /> <br />7) Formal RcsDonse to CorDS of Enlrlneers Letter Once we have <br />given sufficient thought to the 6 preceding issues, we can answer <br />the Corps of Engineers letter of December 6, 1994. A formal <br />response, signed by Chuck Lile, should be sent to the Corps of <br />Engineers indicating what the CWCB plans to do about the 404 <br />violation in our right-of-way. <br />
