'-

'>~

TOWN of FRISCO
P.O. BOX 370
SUMMIT COUNTY
FRISCO, COLORADO 80443

November 8, 1991

Mr, William R. Locke
Chief, Risk Studies Division
Federal Insurance Administration
Office of Risk Assessment
500 C Street SW, Room 422
Washington, DC 20472

RE: Ten Mile Creek
Case No,: 90-08-12R
Community: Town of Frisco, Colorado

Dear Mr. Locke:

With this letter and attachments, the Town of Frisco is requesting a final
Letter of Map Revision (LOMR) for a portion of Ten Mile Creek.

This project was submitted as a Conditional LOMR. The initial request was
submitted by Ms, Peggy A. McCarthy of Greenhorne & O'Mara, Inc., on behalf of
the Town, on April 12, 1990. Final approval was received from you in a letter
dated May 2, 1991,

In your May 2, 1991 letter (copy attached) you requested two items for final
determination of the LOMR:

A. "As-built" plans certified by a registered professional engineer of all
proposed project elements.

B. Evidence of adoption of the floodplain management ordinances incorporating
the increased BFE's and revised floodways for the post-project condition.

For preparation of the "as-built" plans (record drawing), Greenhorne & 0 'Mara
performed field surveys to locate the proposed project elements horizontally
and vertically. There are only minor changes between the plans and field
locations, which are primarily in the structures actual station location and
slight modifications in finished elevation. The changes are incorporated into
the final HEC-2's, profiles and drawings. To assist you in your review of our
LOMR, we have included two copies of the plans and profiles with one copy each
showing those areas that differ from the CLOMR in yellow highlight.

We have also enclosed revised HEC-2's (floodway and multiple runs) which
include all as-built information. Note that the as-builts only affected
Section 32+26 through 40+23.

668-5276

FAX 668-0677

Denver Direct 893-1855
