<br />South Boulder Creek at Flatiron Park Channel Maintenance Improvements Project, City of Boulder and Urban
<br />Drainage & Flood Control District - Principal-in-Charge. Design of channel maintenance improvements on South
<br />Boulder Creek in Boulder County, CO which included re-grading of approximately 780 If of wetland vegetation lined
<br />channel: modifications to existing concrete drop structures; wetland mitigation design; erosion control and landscaping
<br />with wetland and upland vegetation. This work is being required because over the years the channel's flood carrying
<br />capacity has been reduced due to extensive forestation and sediment deposition.

<br />Fourmile Canyon Creek - Floodplain Re-Aualysis and Preparation of a Letter of Map Revision (LOMR), City of
<br />Boulder, CO - Principal-in-Charge. At the request of the City of Boulder, updated floodplain, f1oodway, conveyance
<br />zone and high hazard zone hydraulic analyses were perfonned utilizing the new topographic mapping and field
<br />surveyed cross sections. A LOMR is expected to be submitted to FEMA for review and acceptance by the first of
<br />April, 1997.

<br />Bear Canyon Creek - Floodplain Re-Analysis and Preparation of a Letter of Map Revision (LOMR), City of
<br />Boulder, CO - Principal-in-Charge. At the request of the City of Boulder, updated floodplain, f1oodway, conveyance
<br />zone and high hazard zone hydraulic analyses were perfonned utilizing 1993 topographic mapping and field surveyed
<br />cross Sections for a four mile reach of Bear Canyon Creek. This re-study was undertaken due to significant changes
<br />that h'l\e taken pl'Ke within the floodplain over the past fifteen years as well as errors in the existing regulatory model.
<br />A LO~m is expecled to be submitted to FEMA for review and acceptance by the first of April, 1997.

<br />North Clear Creek Floodplain Analysis, Black Hawk, CO - Principal-in-Charge. An updated floodplain and
<br />f100dway hydraulic analyses were performed for North Clear Creek through the City of Black Hawk utilizing new
<br />topographic mapping supplemented with field cross sections of existing structures. A 1 DO-year floodplain model was
<br />prepared along with a I-foot rise flooctway. These updated delineations were provided to the City to assist them in
<br />regulating the floodplain to the substantial amount of development occurring within the City.
