Those recom- <br />mendations are as follows: <br /> <br />Reach VC (Reed Street to Confluence) <br />A pipe will be required from Reed Street to the upper pond in the <br />lakewood Country Club to convey the runoff from the more frequent events. <br />(2 year design). <br /> <br />All improvements shall be designed to provide a 100-year level of <br />protection, except street crossings which shall be signed according to <br />the Urban Drainage Criteria Manual, provided no damage to existing struc- <br />tures occurs. Storm drains may be sized so that a combination of sur- <br />face flow and conduit flow is ade~uate to convey the 100-year event, pro- <br />viding the surface flow can be accomodated without damage to structure <br />and meets accepted criteria for street inundation. <br /> <br />If there are any questions regarding these recommendations please con- <br />tact Tony lea at 234-8819. <br /> <br />I would suggest a meeting be held with UD&FCD, the consultant and the <br />City'staff to go over the above recommendations prior to the consultant <br />beginning work. Tony lea of my staff will coordinate the meeting if you <br />wish. <br /> <br />Very truly yours, <br /> <br />Reach I (Kipling Street to Addenbrook Pond) <br />The pond in Addenbrooke Park shall be designed for the maximum <br />retention of storm runoff. Provision shall be made to separate irrigation <br />and storm flows. <br /> <br />CITY OF lAKEWOOD <br /> <br />Delete the culvert design at Kipling Street and the water quality <br />enhancement. <br /> <br /> <br />The design of improvements in Addenbrooke Park shall be coordinated <br />with and approved by the City of lakewood Parks and Recreation Department. <br /> <br />Reach IIA (Addenbrooke Pond to Garrison Street) <br />Any channelization in Addenbrooke Park will have to be approved ,by <br />City of lakewood Parks and Recreation Department. <br /> <br />Reach lIB (Garrison Street to Rockmont Ponds) <br />Design an adequate channel with drop structures and erosion protection <br />where necessary.
