Three stormwater detention basins are proposed to control runoff from the
more frequent rainfall events (2-year, 5-year, and 10-year). The facili-
ties are sized to release the 2-year peak flow rate through the principle
outlet pipes and will release flows in excess of the 10- to 25-year run-
off event through the emergency spillway. The three facilities are named
for easy reference and located as follows:

TUCKER GULCH
TOTAL IMPROVEMENT COSTS

ITEM

Subtotal
Contingencies (15%)
Engineering, Legal & Administrative (15%)

COST
$ 966,500
139,500
4,800
-0-
-0-
1,110,800
166,620
166,620
1,444,040
691,250
2,135,290
.
2,042,990
92,300
(16,700)

1. Channel improvements are proposed for the West Fork Kenneys Run from a
poi nt approximately 300 feet downstream of the 23rd Street crossing
through the Golden High School property. A rock-lined channel with drop
structures is proposed to convey the 100-year flood. The channel design
considers the effects of the "Welch Ditch Detention Basin".
