Kenneys Run

. Three stormwater detention basins are proposed to control runoff from the
more frequent rainfall events (2-year, 5-year, and 10-year). The facili-
ties are sized to release the 2-year peak flow rate through the principle
outlet pipes and will release flows in excess of the 10- to 25-year run-
off event through the emergency spillway. The three facilities are named
for easy reference and located as follows:

A storm sewer connector section (96" CMP) is proposed for a short open
channel reach of Kenneys Run downstream of 15th Street. Other improve-
ments within the lower storm-sewered reach from 20th Street to the Clear
Creek confluence include:

Annual Operation and Maintenance Costs

1. Installation of Type R inlets to improve street drainage.

2. New storm sewer inlet and trash rack for the West Fork Kenneys Run.

3. New storm sewer inlet for the 20th Street tributary.

. Channel improvements are proposed for the West Fork Kenneys Run from a
poi nt approximately 300 feet downstream of the 23rd Street crossing
through the Golden High School property. A rock-lined channel with drop
structures is proposed to convey the 100-year flood. The channel design
considers the effects of the "Welch Ditch Detention Basin". Other
