<br />e <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />FPR 92-320 <br /> <br />COLORADO WATER CONSERVATION BOARD <br />721 State Centennial Building <br />1313 Shcrman Street <br />Denver, Colorado 80203 <br /> <br />May 8, 1992 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a floodplain information report entitled "Major Drainageway Planning, <br />Van Bibber Creek", dated March 1977, has been prepared by Gingery Associates, Inc., at <br />the request of the Urban Drainage and Flood Control District in cooperation with the City <br />of Arvada and Jefferson County, Colorado; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Colorado Water Conservation Board, as requested by the Urban <br />Drainage and Flood Control District, by Resolution No. 72 adopted on July 27, 1977, <br />approved and designated the floodplains dcscribed in said report; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a floodplain information report entitled "Major Drainageway Planning, <br />Lower Ralston/Van Bibber and Leyden Creeks," dated February 1986, has been prepared <br />by Wright Water Engineers, Inc., at the request of the Urban Drainage and Flood Control <br />District, and City of Arvada, in cooperation with Jefferson County, Colorado; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said Wright Water Engineers report includes detailed floodplain <br />information for the storm and floodwater runoff channels on Lower Ralston/Van Bibber <br />and Leyden Creeks; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Urban Drainage and Flood Control District and City of Arvada in <br />cooperation with Jefferson County have requested the Colorado Water Conservation Board <br />to designate and approve the floodplain arCas for Van Bibber Creek (only) as set forth in <br />the aforesaid Wright Water Engineers report; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said Wright Water Engineers report revises, on the basis of new surveys <br />and recently constructed flood control works, the detailed floodplain information previously <br />designated and approved by Resolution No. 72, for Van Bibber Creeks from its confluence <br />with Ralston Creek upstream to Indiana Street; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a floodplain information report entitled "Flood Insurance Study, City <br />of Arvada, Colorado, Jefferson and Adams Counties", dated February 19, 1992 was prepared <br />
