Upon review an0 approval by the UD&FCD, the 100-year flood plain area outlined on the study maps will be submitted to the Colorado Water Conservation Board (CWCB) for consideration of designation and approval as an area of state interest (H.B. 1041). Technical addendums to the report, covering the hydrologic and hydraulic studies, are available for review at the following location: - INTRODUCTION - The planning study was divided into two parts, Phase A and Phase B. The Phase A and phase B studies included the following work items: Authorization This planning study and report has been undertaken and completed through the authorization of the UD&FCD in joint sponsorship with the City of Arvada and Jefferson County. Official authorization was provided through an Agreement between the District and the entities, entitled, MAJOR DRAINAGEWAY PLANNING Phase A 1. Obtain background data. 2. Complete preliminary hydrologic and hydraulic studies considering the 2-, 10-, and 100-year recurrence interval floods for both existing and projected, basin land use conditions.
