No. Portland 1 <br /> <br />In ar.cordance with your request. this firm has conducted a geo- <br />technical investigation for the proposed reconstruction of the <br />Portland and Cascade Flumes located in Ouray, Colorado. The pur- <br />pose of these services is to provide information and recom- <br />mendations regarding <br /> <br />o headwall foundation design <br />o channel and culvert bedding <br />o anticipated excavation conditions <br />o lateral earth pressures <br />o subgrade preparation and backfill placement <br />o structures which may be adversely affected by the pro <br />posed construction <br />o temporary support of existing structures <br />o suggested end product specifications relating to tem- <br />porary shoring and underpinning systems <br /> <br />Our services were performed along the complete alignment of both <br />the Portland and Cascade Flumes. This report is for the Port- <br />land Flume only for the portion between the alley east of Third <br />Street and the Uncompahgre River. A report for the entire <br />Portland Flume will be issued when the final alignment becomes <br />available.
