. Task 6 - Cost Estimate: The Contractor shall provide a table of refined construction cost information for the proposed (recommended) local storm drainage component to be included in the final report. (Estimation of construction costs for the alternatives were included in Task 4). The Corps and the CWCB will provide cost estimates for the major drainageway component of the project. Preliminary Desi!!n Criteria All preliminary designs of channels, levees, culverts, detention facilities, and other major drainagway features shall be consistent with FEMA, Corps of Engineers, or State of Colorado design criteria for flood control works (whichever may apply, and whichever would be the most stringent criteria for a given flood control feature). The major drainageway designs shall provide flood protection to the lOO-year flood frequency. Local storm drainage improvements and preliminary designs for storm drain systems shall have capacity for the 5-year flood frequency. Meetin!!s and Coordination At least three informal progress meetings shall be held between Contractor and CWCB during the course of the Project. The first meeting will consist of a half-day on-site tour of the Project area. The second and third meetings will be held to discuss and review work progress, to coordinate work efforts, and to provide input to the Contractor. Meetings times will be mutually agreed upon at key project phases and scheduled accordingly. . The CWCB Project Manager, Mr. Tom Browning, shall coordinate activities performed by the Project participants. Any Project-related questions or problems shall be directed to Tom Browning at (303) 866-3441. The Contractor shall provide the name of one person who will serve as the main point of contact for all communications between CWCB and Contractor. Survey and Mappin!! Information A survey Subconsultant will obtain field survey information and will provide topographic base sheets for the project. The survey subconsultant will perform the survey and mapping tasks as a subconsultant to the Contractor. The survey Subconsultant shall be paid directly by the engineering Contractor for the lump sum total amount of $6,490. Survey Subconsultant shall invoice the Contractor directly, and shall be paid within 10 days after the engineering Contractor receives said State funding for the Project. . Completion of Work The contractor shall complete all work as assigned in this Scope of Work no later than January 15, 1998. Completion of the work will include the acceptable performance of tasks and the delivery of ten (10) copies of the final report with included drawings, figures, and maps. Report format shall be a comb-bound 8.5" by II" report with a color cover (cover to be approved by CWCB), an index, an executive summary, the main body of the report text, and a map pocket at the end of the report that contains large size maps, drawings, and/or preliminary design sheets. Contractor shall also deliver two (2) sets of error free and virus free 3.5" high density floppy disks containing digital files of the final report and other project related design files.
