The project includes construction of a trapezoidal challl1el with <br />a concrete bottom and riprap- or Geoweb,lined sides from Wyoming Street to State Highway 93 (SH93), <br />two 66,inch,diameter reinforced,concrete pipe (RCP) culverts under SH93, and a 90-inch-diameter RCP <br />culvert that increases to 96 inches in diameter under Pine Ridge Drive, The revised reach of Cressmans <br />Gulch extends from Wyoming Street to approximately 600 feet upstream of SH93, <br /> <br />All data required to complete our review of this request were submitted with letters from Mr. Thomas, <br /> <br />We have completed our review of the submitted data and the flood data shown on the effective FIRM and <br />FIS report, We have revised the FIRM and FIS report to modify the elevations and floodplain boundary <br />delineations of the flood having a l'percent chance of being equaled or exceeded in any given year (base <br />flood) along the revised reach of Cressmans Gulch, As a result of the project, the base flood discharges <br />from Cressmans Gulch and Cressmans Gulch Old Challl1el are contained within a single challl1el from <br />Wyoming Street to SH93, In addition, the base flood elevations (BFEs) for the revised reach decreased, <br />and the width of the Special Flood Hazard Area (SFHA), the area that would be inundated by the base <br />flood, increased in some areas and decreased in other areas, The modifications are shown on the enclosed <br />alll10tated copies of FIRM Panel(s) 0003 A and Profile Panel(s) 02P, This Letter of Map Revision (LOMR) <br />hereby revises the above-referenced panel(s) of the effective FIRM dated May 15, 1985, and the affected <br />portions of the FIS report dated September 15, 1984, <br /> <br />Because this revision request also affects the unincorporated areas of Jefferson County, a separate LOMR <br />for.that community was issued on the same date as this LOMR, <br /> <br />The modifications are effective as of the date shown above, The map panel(s) as listed above and as <br />modified by this letter will be used for all flood insurance policies and renewals issued for your community, <br />
