CONTRACT #: 80EMCWCuW' <br />Between the <br />Department of Local Affairs - Division of Local Government <br />Office of Emergency Management <br />and the <br />Department of Natural Resources <br />Colorado Water Conservation Board <br />(performance Period - December 1, 1997, through November 30, 1998) <br /> <br />a/y,J'{) <br /> <br />THIS MOA, is made by and between the Department of Local Affairs, Division of Local Government, <br />Office of Emergency Management (OEM) 1313 Sherman St, Rm 52l, Denver, Colorado, and the <br />Department of Natural Resources, Colorado Water Conservation Board (CWCB) 1313 Sherman St. Rm <br />72l, Denver, Colorado, hereinafter referred to as CWCB. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the purpose of this MOA is to further the goals of flood hazard reduction by administering <br />the funds provided by the Hazard Mitigation Grant Program as a result of Presidential Disaster Declaration <br />numberDR-1l86 to the State of Colorado; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the authority for the CWCB to use these grant funds for flood mitigation projects is derived <br />through the Federal-State Agreement under the provisions of Presidential Stafford Act Declared Disaster <br />Number DR-ll86-CO. The CWCB is the designated state agency by Governor Lamm on November 4, <br />1977, to coordinate and administer floodplain management programs under the duties and responsibilities <br />stated in Executive Order 8504 and the National Flood Insurance Program; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, authority exists to the State of Colorado and Funds have been budgeted, appropriated and <br />otherwise made available and a sufficient unencumbered balance thereof remains available for payment in <br />Fund Number lOO, Appropriation Code Number 796, Org. Unit SDOO, GBLs FA96 and FS96, RCAT <br />3796, Contract Encumbrance 80EMCWCB; and <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE it is hereby agreed that: <br /> <br />1. Scope of Work <br /> <br />The CWCB shall be responsible for the Hazard Mitigation Grant Program provisions of the <br />FEMA and Colorado OEM Federal/State Agreement for Disaster Number DR-ll86 including <br />performance reporting on a biannual basis and financial reporting on a quarterly basis. The <br />sum ofS139,l08.00 shall provide for: <br /> <br />A $135,400.00 for all personnel (wages & benefits) services and; <br /> <br />B. $ 3,708.00 (administrative costs) services necessary to complete the projects by the <br />'.. ;;;;ooo',CWCB.
