<br />any storm or floodwater runoff channel or basin only after desig- <br />nation and approval by the Colorado Water Conservation Board; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 37-60-106(1)(c), Colorado Revised Statutes, <br />directs the Colorado Water Conservation Board to designate and <br />approve storm or floodwater runoff channels or basins and to make <br />such designations available to legislative bodies of local <br />jurisdictions; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Board finds that the hydrologic and hydraulic <br />data in the reports dated March 16, 1978; December 4, 1981; and <br />February 19, 1985, are identical, and that the community may use <br />any of them for the administration of its floodplain management <br />programs; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Colorado Water Conser- <br />vation Board in regular, meeting assembled in Denver, Colorado, <br />this 3rd day of May, 1985, that it does hereby designate and <br />approve as floodplain areas, in addition to the designations and <br />approvals provided by Resolution Nos. 100 and 178 and without <br />rescinding or modifying those resolutions, those areas described <br />in the aforesaid Flood Insurance Study for the purposes of <br />floodplain management and admission into the National Flood <br />Insurance Program; and <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Board is <br />directed to send a certified copy of this resolution to the <br />Board of County commissioners of Otero County; the U. S.
