We have several questions regarding the desired level of effort and
deliverables which could affect the project duration. In addition, CWCB may have desired
review periods for coordinating with outside agencies which have not been specified in the
RFQ. Our Denver Regional Office has the resources and capability to meet any reasonable
schedule for the Statewide Needs Inventory.

In response to Item VI in the RFQ, we have prepared a draft schedule for the project based on
our current understanding of the scope of work. This is shown on the following page. The
overall project duration in this schedule is 7 months. The schedule shows start times and dura-
tions of project tasks as listed in the RFQ. The most critical project task from a scheduling
standpoint is formulating and distributing a statewide floodplain and river rehabilitation needs
survey. This must be accomplished as soon as possible to allow adequate time for follow-up

16

MONTGOMERY WATSON ~
