. Kevin Curry to transmit aerial photograph with property lines shown.
. Discrepancy in flows and volume for Maul Reservoir. Need discussion in text (i.e. 3100 cfs
vs. 3700 cfs).
. Include existing facilities sheet from alternatives report.
. Include discussion in text about current regulatory environment.
. Identify Eagle Creek as local drainage contributing 350 cfs.
. Index sheet doesn't match individual sheet layouts.
. Stream alignments in FHAD don't match OSP.
. Need to show easements and rights-of-way.
. Re-evaluate use of flumes, siphons, or flow-inlspill-outs.
. Preservation of water rights.
. Sheet 8 needs to identify problem of Shell's wells.
. Cross reference sheets. See redline plans.
. Sheet 9 has planned Arsenal trail. Follow-up with Chris Gervais.
. 1-76 crossing is critical issue.
. If possible realignment of channel to avoid utility relocations.
. In areas where proposed channel banks are above existing grade, note fill required on the
plans.
. Coordinate plans with Phelps existing channel on Sheets 13 & 14.
. Are low flow or trickle channels required on tributaries?
. Need grade control structures in areas of channel grade breaks.
. Make sure maintenance trails are provide for all channels except where there are adjacent
roadways.
. Chris Gervais to transmit plat for Mountain View Industrial Park.
. Note on plans that Belle Creek may be diverting some flows.

The final FHAD was submitted and the following items were discussed for the Preliminary
Design Report:

. Received written comments from Commerce City and Adams County.
. Redline comments were provided by UD&FCD.
. The stream reach between the South Platte and Highway No. 85 (between Lafarge and Bell
Creek) is an intermediate section that will be completed by a third party. Note on plans and
indicate no impact to cost estimate.
. Bridge sizes appear extremely large. TC&B to re-evaluate openings. How were the bridges
sized? Provide discussion in text.
. Check if the railroad bridge is adequate to pass flows (located between O'Brien and Highway
No.2).
. The area in the proximity of the Lafarge property would be revised to reflect the reclamation
plan.
. Check for consistency of whether the Birch is tributary to the Arsenal Creek or vice versa.
. Need discussion on initial and ultimate development of Maul Reservoir, outlet works,
discharges, etc.
. Check unit costs. For example, the alternatives report showed $35M vs. $97M in the OSP.
. Reference the hydrology report.
. Check line weights on drafting.
. Typical channel sections should conform to UD&FCD Criteria Manual guidelines.
. Need discussion of potential elimination of the Burlington ditch. Note on plans, also.
