Received written comments from Commerce City and Adams County. <br />. Redline comments were provided by UD&FCD. <br />. The stream reach between the South Platte and Highway No. 85 (between Lafarge and Bell <br />Creek) is an intermediate section that will be completed by a third party. Note on plans and <br />indicate no impact to cost estimate. <br />. Bridge sizes appear extremely large. TC&B to re-evaluate openings. How were the bridges <br />sized? Provide discussion in text. <br />. Check if the railroad bridge is adequate to pass flows (located between O'Brien and Highway <br />No.2). <br />. The area in the proximity of the Lafarge property would be revised to reflect the reclamation <br />plan. <br />. Check for consistency of whether the Birch is tributary to the Arsenal Creek or vice versa. <br />. Need discussion on initial and ultimate development of Maul Reservoir, outlet works, <br />discharges, etc. <br />. Check unit costs. For example, the alternatives report showed $35M vs. $97M in the OSP. <br />. Reference the hydrology report. <br />. Check line weights on drafting. <br />. Typical channel sections should conform to UD&FCD Criteria Manual guidelines. <br />. Need discussion of potential elimination of the Burlington ditch.
