We request that the Colorado <br />Water Conservation Board consider the 100-year floodplains described in <br />this report for designation as flood hazard areas. Westminter, <br />Broomfield, Adams County and Jefferson County will be responsible for <br />regulating the floodplains. <br /> <br />Also, accompanying this letter are 10 copies of "Flood Hazard Area <br />Del ineation, Big Dry Creek (Adco)", dated November, 1986. The 80ard of <br />Directors of the Urban Drainage and Flood Control District, at their <br />November 20 meeting, passed Resolution No. 66, Series of 1986 (copy <br />enclosed) adopting this report. We request that the Colorado Water <br />Conservation Board consider the 100-year floodplains described in this <br />report for designation as flood hazard areas. The City of Thornton and <br />Adams County will be responsible for regulating the floodplains. <br /> <br />" You will undoubtedly wish to consider rescinding the previous <br />designation and approval of "Master Plan Major Oraingeway Planning, Big <br />Dry Creek" dated March, 1973.
