<br />WHEREAS, Resolution No. 94.350, which was prepared by the Federal Emergency <br />Management Agency (FEMA) on November 17, 1993, included, for unincorporated portions of <br />Larimer County, detailed floodplain information for Boxelder Creek derived directly from <br />Resolution No. 227 but did not include the detailed floodplain information for Coal Creek which <br />was readily available from Resolution No. 227, and which was reflective of floodplain conditions <br />on Coal Creek in September 1983 as well as on November 17, 1993; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Resolution No. 94-384, which was prepared by FEMA on December 3, <br />1993, included, detailed floodplain information for Boxelder Creek within the Town of <br />Wellington, which was derived directly from Resolution No. 227 but did not include the detailed <br />floodplain information for Coal Creek which was readily available from Resolution No. 227, and <br />which was reflective of floodplain conditions on Coal Creek in September 1983 as well as on <br />December 3, 1993; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the following floodplain studies have been completed for unincorporated <br />portions of Larimer County, which included by reference detailed information for Boxelder <br />Creek for areas of Larimer County adjacent to the Town of Wellington derived directly from <br />Resolution No. 227 but which did not include the detailed floodplain information for Coal Creek <br />which was readily available from Resolution No. 227, and which was reflective of floodplain <br />conditions on Coal Creek in September 1983 as well as on March 18, 1996 and on July 17, <br />1997, which studies have been designated and approved by the Colorado Water Conservation <br />Board, as listed in Table 2 below: <br /> <br />TABLE 2 <br />Previouslv Desil!nated Floodplain Studies in Unincorporated Larimer Countv <br />Which Included Information for Areas Near Wellinl!ton Onlv Bv Reference <br /> <br />Study Name Author Report Resolution No. <br /> Date <br />Flood Insurance Study, ltzrimer County, Federal Emergency 3118/96 96-431 <br />Colorado, Unincomorated Areas, Volumes 1 - 3 Manaoement Agency <br />Flood Insurance Study, Larimer County, Federal Emergency 7117/97 99-481 <br />Colorado, Unincorporated Areas, Volumes 1 - 3 Management Agency <br /> <br />; and <br /> <br />STUDY TO BE OFFICIALLY ACTED UPON <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a new report entitled "Flood Insurance Study, The Town of Wellington, <br />Colorado, Larimer County", revised October 20, 1998, has been prepared by the Federal Emergency <br />Management Agency; and <br /> <br />') <br />
