<br />WHEREAS, said new report includes detailed floodplain information for the following <br /> <br />streams: <br /> <br />Eoxelder Creek, <br />Coal Creek; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said new report includes detailed floodplain information for Coal Creek, as <br />listed in Table 2 below, which information is based on revised hydrologic and hydraulic data for Coal <br />Creek reflecting the effects of a flood control reservoir consuucted by the USDA Soil Conservation <br />Service on Coal Creek upstream of the Town of Wellington and reflecting the effects of the Windsor <br />Ditch upstream of the Town of Wellington, which data was already included in Resolution No. 227 for <br />both incorporated areas of the Town of Wellington and unincorporated areas of Larimer County <br />previously designated and approved by the Colorado Water Conservation Board; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the specific stream reaches of Coal Creek for which revised detailed floodplain <br />information has been included in the 1998 PIS for Wellington are described in Table 3 below: <br /> <br />TABLE 3 <br />Stream Reaches Studied bv Detailed Methods <br />To Revise Previous Detailed or Approximate <br />Floodplain Information <br /> <br />Stream Downstream Study Limit Upstream Study Limit Previous Study <br /> Approximate or <br /> Detailed <br />Coal Creek The southern corporate limit of the The northern corporate limit of the Approximate <br /> Town of Wellington Town of Wellington at Colorado <br /> Highwav ] <br /> <br />; and <br /> <br />CONSISTENCY WITH OTHER FLOODPLAIN STUDIES <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said new report for the Town of Wellington, revised October 20, 1998, is <br />consistent with Resolution No. 227 regarding detailed floodplain information for Boxelder Creek <br />within the Town of Wellington; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said new report for the Town of Wellington, revised October 20, 1998, <br />includes the following detailed floodplain information for Coal Creek which was derived directly from <br />and is, therefore, consistent with previously designated and approved detailed floodplain infonnation <br />within the Town of Wellington as listed in Table 4 below: <br /> <br />3 <br />
