WHEREAS, the Federal Emergency Management Agency completed a new floodplain
information report entitled "Flood Insurance Study, City of Aurora, Colorado (Adams, Douglas,
and Arapahoe Counties)" dated September 7, 1998 (Table I, Ref. No.5) with included Flood
Insurance Rate Maps; and

WHEREAS. said report with included maps contains detailed and approximate floodplain
information for streams within the incorporated portions of Aurora, as they were at the time of the
study prior to September 1998; and
