The water has been treated to meet state <br />health standards and is safe to drink. The problem is aesthetic only. <br /> <br />Some customers may notice taste and odor in their water for a few more <br />days as this water makes its way through the system; however, another <br />major rainstorm in the Cheesman area could cause a reoccurrence. <br /> <br />Boiling water is not advised and may make the problem worse.
