<br />In 1965 Weld County, as a public entity, received $136,791.56 from <br />O.E.P. These funds were distributed in six catagories as follows: <br /> <br />, <br />(-- <br />~: <br /> <br />1. However, individual losses to land <br />and crops were estimated at $600,000.00 by a local agent of the Soil Con- <br />servation Service. For Weld County as a public entity, ditch companies and <br />towns in Weld County, a detailed summary of funds granted under PL875 tot- <br />aled $508,532.00, therefore the total damage for the 1969 flood is estimated.. <br />to be $1,108,532.00. <br /> <br />Equipment: <br /> <br />It is felt that the equipment necessary for a project of this size <br />as previously outlined, would cost far too much for the County to undertake <br />on its own.
