Hundreds of acres of cropland were Inundated. <br />Atwood, Colorado was completely Inundated by floodwators. Flood- <br />water overTopped highway and railroad grades east of Atwood. <br />Pawnee Creek floodwaters flowed In an easterly direction Toward <br />Sterling causing the inundation of portions of Sterling. <br /> <br />The photographs of figures 6 through 9 show floodIng in <br />the Sterling area on 20 June 1965.
