S. Army Corps of Engineers <br />Pueblo and Pueblo County in October 1968; and <br /> <br />entitled "Flood <br />Colorado," was <br />for the City of <br /> <br />WHEREAS,' the Colorado Water Conservation Board, as <br />requested by the Pueblo Regional Planning Commission, by <br />Resolution No.3, adopted May 7, 1969, approved and designated <br />the floodplains described in said report; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a floodplain information report entitled "Flood <br />Plain Information, Goodnight Arroyo, Dry Creek and wild <br />Horse-Dry Creek, Pueblo, Co lorado," was prepared by the U. S. <br />Army Corps of Engineers for th~ City of Pueblo in April, 1969; <br />and <br /> <br />) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Colorado Water Conservation Board, as <br />requested by the Pueblo Regional Planning Commission, by <br />Resolution No.5, adopted JJnuary 14, 1970, approved and <br />designated the floodplains described in said report; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a new report entitled "Flood Insurance Study, City <br />of Pueblo, Colorado, Pueblo County," dated September 29, 1986, <br />has been prepared by MSMISP Group under contract to the Federal <br />Emergency Management Agency; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said new Federal Emergency Management Agency <br />report describes and outlines the floodplain data and <br />information for the reach of the Arkansas River from the <br />downstream corporate limit upstream to a point approximately <br />1500 feet downstream of the Colorado Highway 96 bridge, the <br />reach of Fountain Creek from its confluence with the Arkansas <br />River upstream to a point approximately 3400 feet upstream of <br />the Colorado HighwaY.47 bridge, Wildhorse-Dry Creek, University <br />Park Tributary, and the Lake Minnequa Area; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said new Federal Emergency Management Agency <br />report includes floodprone areas (Zone A), which are <br />approximate lOO-year floodplains, for the following streams or <br />stream reaches: <br /> <br />l482E <br />
