FORECASTS OF HUNOFF <br /> <br />Forecasts of runoff in the North Platte River basin are <br />made by the National Weather Service, Soil Conservation SerYlce, <br />Bureau of Reclamat:lon, and the Corps of Engineers. The estiroates <br />are based almost entirely upon a'Tsi1able snow course measur,ement <br />data at the time of the forecast. Ayere.ge conditions are assumed <br />thereafter. Table 14 lists the forecasts made on 1 April 1973 <br />by the four agencies. Table 15 lists the runoff as it occurred. <br /> <br />33 <br />
