<br />Plan Implementation <br />Operation and maintenance is an important part of any flood control <br /> <br />plan. Structures must be repaired as necessary and be kept free of debris <br /> <br />to insure that facilities function properly when flood events do occur. <br /> <br /> <br />The selected Flood Control Plan should require less maintenance than the <br /> <br />existing system because the proposed structures are less likely to block <br /> <br />with debris. <br /> <br />One of the advantages of the selected Plan is that it can be con- <br /> <br /> <br />structed in stages.
