WHEREAS, the staff of the Board has reviewed the revised information and data and .does hereby recommend to the Colorado Water conservation Board that the Board designate and approve as floodplain areas those areas inundated by a lOa-year flood (intermediate regional flood) as described by the floodwater surface elevations and profiles in said Flood Insurance study and further recommends that the flood- plain designation for the county portion of the Purgatoire River and tributaries, as approved by the previous Resolution Number 43 of February 26, 1975, be rescinded; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Colorado Water Con- servation Board in regular. meeting assembled in Denver, colorado, .:-:1'ti., this 15th day of November, 1977, that it does hereby designate and approve as floodplain areas those areas described as being inundated .by a lOO-year flood as described by the floodwater surface elevations and profiles in said FlOOd Insurance Study and does hereby rescind ~ _ _ that -portion of the resolution -dated -February 26, 1975, -whi-ch.applies to the county portions of the Purgatoire .River and tributari~s; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Board is directed to send a certified copy of this resolution to the Board of county Commissioners of Las Animas County, the United States Army Corps of Engineers, Albuquerque District, and the Federal Insurance Administration.
