Aggradation i!, an indicator that a <br />change in the stream's discharge or sediment load characteristics is taking <br />place. <br /> <br />Angle of repose - The maximum a.ngle (as measured from the horiwntal) at which loose <br />materials can rest with stability. <br /> <br />Annual ,;eries - The discharge record composed of the greatest discharge each year <br />during the perio<l of record. <br /> <br />Annor - A coarse layer of gravel or cobble that develops on a streambed through <br />willllowing away of fim,s. <br /> <br />Annoring - (a) Natural process whereby an erosion-resisllmt layer of relatively large <br />particles is fonn,:d on a. streambank due to the removal of finer particles by <br />streamflow.
