Views of .health authorities were obtained from <br />the U.S. Department of Health, Education and Welfare, .during project <br />docl.m1ent investigations. Comments of the agency.on the project are con- <br />tained in copies of correspondence published in the project document. <br /> <br />15-02. The Public Health Service has made no comments on water supply <br />and pollution control in addition to those included in their letters in <br />Appendix D of the project document. It was stated that prevention of <br />flooding should be beneficial by alleviating sanitation problems <br />associated with flooding and by making the suggested provisions for the <br />control of man-made vectors sources, the overall benefits could be <br />enhanced.
