<br />WHEREAS, the detailed 100-year floodplain information for the studied mainstem and <br />tributaries of Box Elder Creek, Bear Gulch, and Hayesmount Creek contained in said new report meets <br />the requirements listed under the Board's "Rules and Regulations for the Designation and Approval of <br />Floodplains and of Storm or Floodwater Runoff Channels in Colorado" (2 CCR 408-1); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Adams County and the City and County of Denver should continue to regulate <br />new development and construction in floodplain areas on a case-by-case basis based on the information <br />presented in said new report, or based on the best available floodplain information that is accessible to <br />the them; and <br /> <br />DESIGNATION. APPROVAL AND RESCISSION ACTION <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Colorado Water Conservation Board in <br />regular meeting assembled in Denver, Colorado, this 19th day of November 2001, that it does hereby <br />designate and approve as detailed floodplain information the lOO-year floodplain delineations for Box <br />Elder Creek, Bear Gulch, and Hayesmount Creek for Adams County and the City and County of <br />Denver within the Urban Drainage and Flood Control District contained in said new report dated <br />November 14, 2001; and <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Board does hereby rescind the approximate 100-year <br />floodplain information contained in Resolution No, 530 for said study reaches contained in said new <br />report dated November 14, 2001; and <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Board is directed to send a certified <br />copy of this resolution to the Urban Drainage and Flood Control District, Adams County, the City and <br />County of Denver, and the Federal Emergency Management Agency Region 8, <br /> <br />CERTIFICATE <br /> <br />I certifY that the foregoing is a true and correct copy of a resolution adopted by a majority vote of the <br />members ofthe Colorado Water Conservation Board in regular session assembled at Denver, Colorado <br />on the 19th day of November 2001, at which a quorum was present. <br /> <br />iJp k::0L <br /> <br />Rod Kuharich, Director <br /> <br />res-555,doc twb <br /> <br />3 <br />
