Address drought related problems through <br />normally established program actlvilles; <br />cooperate with lead response agencies <br />upon their designation (see ''Task Organiza- <br />tion," Figure 6), <br /> <br />. Act as lead drought response ag,""cy when <br />designated, and take action within assigned <br />sectors of responsibility (see below). <br /> <br />. Other participants may be desig- <br />nated as required. When activated by guber- <br />natorial proclamallon issued upon re=om- <br />mendatlon of the Review and Reporting <br />Task Force, the IACG will carry out thl3 fol- <br />lowing tasks: <br /> <br />. Review impact task force statements of <br />unmet needs to recognize and identify alter- <br />nate choices for response. <br /> <br />. Develop, coordinate, and recommend solu- <br />tions to Impact problems Involving: <br /> <br />Executive Branch actions, to Include Inter- <br />departmental or outside support (po'lSlble <br />Federal Declarallon). This could also in- <br />clude recommending the appointment of a <br />departmental staff position(s) or field lepre- <br />sentatlve(s). <br /> <br />State legislative actions, to Includ,~ re- <br />quests for funding. <br /> <br />Program Implementation, monitoring, and <br />apprOllal. <br /> <br />Ensure Interagency coordination (e.g_ <br />media releases).
